Dec 15, 2020When Tplf started its strike against Derg the whole aim was to create the Greater Tigray. One thing they believed posed a great challenge for them was... The Amhara culture. It is said that one night Meles and other TPLF rulers Assembled Amhara soldiers and war generals and killed them cause they kinda posed a challenge (that's what my dad told me) Tbh I know a lot of amharas who love Ethiopia and really believe in diversity, integrity. I gotta say They are a bit dramatic and stuff but they are really good Ethiopians. (this is what I saw in reality) And so Tplf still wanting to do what it started to, tried to dusunite the Amhara with others. (why Idk.. This is still what my dad told me) And a politics based on villany and hatred, it rly stopped the Amhara to organize and strike against TPLF. This helped TPLF reign for almost 30 yrs (This is actually what I saw, everyone with clear conscious would see it) As an Addis Ababa resident who has seen most cultures, most livelihood and peoples of different cultures amharas are rly good so are the oromos and tigreans. But a lot of people have the Ethnic groupism sentiment still now. Actually it subsides at out home too. Mommy doesn't admit that she doesn't like oromos but her views are usually against them. While Dad never admitted that he didnt like amharas his views are centered to that... They are very educated but still they cant help it... At last my dad admitted his mistake and started to work on his opinion bit by bit but its not easy. When you look at this and how this federalism influenced everyone, you will thank God that Ethiopia is still intact. I believe thats the reason why Ethiopians are so dusunited and why amharas are killed everywhere is because People think Amharas came to savage them, make them their colonies, to erase their culture and traditions. They have a pure hatred because that's what they are told. Yes TPLF is dead but their consequences are long lasting. I was really happy when the Millitary controlled Mekele cause Tplf was a dip dip shitty villan. So how can we solve it... Its a process... 1st Education 2nd Peoples interactions should increase. Buy obviously we should stand against Oneg shene and aba torbe, fight them hard until they bend down. The peoples, once they know each other again, they will love each other.

Because metekel is a strategical place where the water from the GERD is near to it so since amhara people are located in this key position they will benefit from fishers activities and tourism so they want to eradicate them or if not minimize there numbers so they wont have a say in this matter and they will move there own people's in that land and be the majority and the other in welega also just cleansing the group from that region
