Dec 13, 2020First off its multi national federalism not ethnic federalism. And if u know the history of our country, the days before the establishment of the current federalism was chaotic and messy. Every body organised ethnically to fight the then regime for autonomy. The current federalism granted the nations in Ethiopia an autonomy (even tho tplf mismanaged it) they fighted for. So, as for me, an endauver to dismantle the current federalism is an endouver to dismantle Ethiopia. As Eritrea did, other nations will most probably secede.

Dec 13, 2020All countries that Followed Ethnic Federalism have either went through hell getting out of it or have been disintegrated. Yes you may say India, Nigeria are strong countries with Ethnic Federalism but they give precedence to their peoples. Their constitution starts with the phrase "We the peoples of... Not we the Ethnic... " The Fact that Ethiopia is still intact is a miracle. The fact that most Ethiopians Still love Ethiopia, that is a work of God. Retaining the Current federal structure is like playing with fire. For the first time, we have a real chance to choose whats best and we should do whatever we can to make it count. The thing abt returning to territorial federalism, its good but what would an oromo brother say if you divide the region into 3. What would Amharas say if you combine some part of benishangul, Oromo and Amhara parts and make it one fedrated region. As the way Ethnic Federalism got into Ethiopia, it has to be phased out. Radical changes are bad, they may bring uncertainties. The way out is not easy but because TPLF is dead. It'll be a whole lot easier

Federalism kekefefel wechi yametaw neger yelem and in order for a country to grow we have to have common goal so the more a person gets racist the more they forget their country. And the ethnic based federalism gov't is doing nothing but bringing division among Ethiopian brothers and I do think unitary will benefit us more but judging from the racist mentality of many people it will not be an easy transformation.
