There are two possible answers for this: Either he doesn't love you as much as he claims or he loves his pride and popularity. Girl you are precious, and you have to show him what it takes to have you. I don't mean to be egotistic and all but men have this inner inclination to protect, and show in however they can how much they love their girls. If he isn't showing you enough attention, and treat not to be enough to be seen with you, then you guys need to talk. Maybe he didn't mean it, yet unless you guys talk, things will get worse. Tell him what is happening is making you feel, and how you wanna be treated frankly. His response will give you a clear indication of his feelings and his seriousness about ur relationship.
