Dec 09, 2020What I think about them is that.... It ISN'T my business. I mean if that is what they wanna do let them be beka It's none of our business. It's their body, their mind, their honor, their soul. I believe that no one deserves to be ridiculed and cast out because of their sexual orientation. As far as cultures go, some fifty years ago people that made art works and ye shekla srawech, they were claimed to be "Buda" and they were seriously casted aside like they weren't even humans. Just what we are doing to the LGBTQ+ community. That is not right. And culture is just a state of mind that has no care about what people might feel or go through whatsoever. And as far as religion is concerned, who are we to judge?? We all sin! We are just blaming them for sinning differently. Even the lord has taught us that we are not in the place to judge anyone for anything. John 8:7 says "He that is without a sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." ("መላልሰው በጠየቁት ጊዜ ግን ቀና ብሎ፦ከእናንተ ኀጢአት የሌለበት አስቀድሞ በድንጋይ ይውገራት አላቸው።") So I don't think anyone should be in the right for making fun of and disrespecting them. They are all humans just like us. God knows how many people commit suicide for just being themselves.
