I am a confused Christian here that needs help. So in the bible, it says that "free will" was given to humans by God. (Matthew 23:37 and Revelation 22:17) but then God is omniscient. And free will is not possible in a Universe where there's an omnicient being, Since he knows what's going to happen, and therefore, the only choice for us is to do what he knows it's going to happen. Isn't this a paradox? If it is does it mean that we don't have free will or that God is not an all-knowing being? Or is there another explanation that I didn't look into or understand? Feel free to drop your general insight on the matter
Dec 07, 2020If God predetermined everything we did, Adam and Eve wouldn't have eaten that fruit in the first place. God Has given us free will event though he knows our future, He recommends and orders for you to lead a life he wants you to lead but if you chose not to do that, he is gon respect that... (and you'll face the consequences of course)
