When do you think sexism towards men will stop in Ethiopia by people that hire jobs, I've seen countless job opportunities for women even if you dont graduate at all but if you are a guy god help you if you dont have exceptionally high grade or good degree you will either end up doing Ride or "yeken serategna" if you dont belive this statment checkout the job opportunities in freelancers half of them are for females.

Dec 07, 2020May be when men start to think of women as human beings not sex objects....malet if you compete with a woman and tje interviwer is a man he will choose her and covers it in the name of affirmative action but he is doing that because when ever he sees a woman he wants to evaluate her sexually not intellectually....this is affecting you guys too silezi we should have community which doesnt think a woman sexually and evaluate her intellectually too
Dec 07, 2020God, I really hope this affirmative action kind of measure will stop! Everyone should have equal opportunities and hiring should be based on intellect and personality, not on a gender that you had nothing to do with deciding on being in the first place. Equality not equity!

Dec 07, 2020Its called affirmative action and diversity within the work force. Women work twice as had to get noticed and are paid less. If they were not qualified to do the job they wouldnt be hired. Like we are all adults here lets speak the truth you’re not getting the job bc of your short coming not bc you are a man. Like no one in their right mind would hire an incompetent women over a competent man, Ever. But we have seen i incompetent men getting hired and failing up.

Try being a guy with a bit of higher grade than women and apply for the same job here in ethio and you will see who gets hired. You can only milk this affirmative action for so long before the economy collapses.
