Well, being fat was like a sign of comfort till my mom's and grandma's generation. And i saw a documentary about ppl around east of Ethiopia that feed their kids like crazy specially girls bc it's still tot that being fat was beautiful and that they wont get a husband if they are not fat. The men literally said in an interview that they don't like thin women. They even showed them pics of supermodels and the were like nah... So i don't think fat shaming existed in Ethiopia before us.

Well, I don't like fat girls and they are not my type, they look out of control of themselves and obesity is associated with diabetes and being unhealthy. Am I body shaming? Am I supposed to hide what I like and don't like?

I personally don't believe being fat is something to be comfortable about. It should be condemn in the community just like how smoking and alcohol abuse are being condemned because of its significant impact on health. If you are overweight, it is only right to lose weight because size is more than just appearance.
