Ive been in the same situation ..malet i had a crush on my best Friend nd during that time there was a gup b/n us cuz i cant fully express myself im over him now and to close tht gap i told him my self the reason why there was a gap. And neither of us r attracted to each other that way and we r such good friend's now.
