So I’ve been thinking about joining a mental health support group...(Some group that deals with Depression, Suicide, Self Harm etc)...If there is any in Addis. If not, I’ll see the response n I think some volunteers from this channel n I could establish that kind of thing. I see there’s need of it...not just for me but for the generation.

Nov 20, 2019I agree with you. Most people are just thinking that depression is boredom. No it is not. It's much more than that. Boredom is temporary something you experience just for being human being depression is a disease. Depression if not treated could lead to much worse problems. I know too much boredom could lead to depression, but that doesn't me they are the same. However, people gathering around to talk about mental problems and their feelings is a preventive medicine. If people start talking about it soon, it could help them prevent depression in the first place. Being around people who are going through the same things you are going through is helpful. So I like the idea of forming the group. In general, I like the idea of the group, however people should not use depression for attention, it's rude for those going through it.
