That's a good question. The reason for this many religions is that as everyone knows people's thinking is different as the number of people increased people started to invent the religions from misunderstanig or misinformation or from not properly searching for the truth ........ And most of the us believe and accept our parents religion and blindly defending it only few seek for the truth. And I assure u that if u seek for it u will find the truth. Especially in the 21st century peaple take religion as something unmodern ... but let's face the truth firstly is there God or not think about how a human is made ur brains function and being so advanced structure like this does it make sense that some compounds with a series of reactions formed a living cell and multuplied like this and taught itself all this and bla bla...... so if we agree that there is God then who is the true God and Religion. Well now there are many religions and most of them requires u to be just spiritual and believe in have faith without any hard evidence. But let me tell u some things Try to be openminded and think about the following evidences Firstly the Islamic Quran decsended 1400 years ago not changed a bit u can go and check that from google 1. Now we know about the big bang theory and the universe was a point and with huge explosion earth and the others formed but the Qurans says this : "Have those who disbelieved not consider that the heavens and the earth was Joined together as one entity, then we separated them?" Quran 21:30 2. Now science has proved that eventually the sun will die after losing all is fuel and the Quran says: وَٱلشَّمْسُ تَجْرِى لِمُسْتَقَرٍّ لَّهَاۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْعَلِيمِ And the sun runs [on course] toward its stopping point. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing. Quran 36:38 3. The Sky protects the earth from various things such high speed small meteorites, the suns radiation, the freezing temperature of the space..... The Quran says: وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ سَقْفًا مَّحْفُوظًاۖ وَهُمْ عَنْ ءَايَٰتِهَا مُعْرِضُونَ And We made the sky a protected ceiling, but they, from its signs, are turning away. Quran 21:32 And there are tons of shoking scientific and historical evidences that the Quran is from God.
