Guys, I have bought 1MB speed wifi and its been 6 months since I bought it but it has never exceeded from 120KB, so is there anything that I can do to make it at least 500KB please?? I've asked ppl from tele but they say it's 1MB
Nov 18, 2020Dude 124KB is the equivalent of 1Mb. Know the difference between KB kilobyte and Mb Megabit (not Megabyte) 1Byte=8bits
Nov 18, 2020There's a difference between 1Mb and 1Mbps, tele sell 1Mbps which average speed is 128kb/s to get 500kb/s you must buy atleast 4Mbps.
Nov 18, 2020Thanks for your answer but me n my friend bout this 1MB speed of wifi and I got max of 120KB/s but he got upto 900KB/s and we pay the same price which is 500Birr, so thats what I asked, why's mine so slow like this, what's the difference?
Nov 18, 2020u didnt bought 1MB, u bought 1mbps, which means 1 mega bit per second that means to get byte u shld divide that by 8, that means u bought 128MBPS
Nov 18, 2020Yes like the ethiotele said it is. . There is big difference b/n 1MB and 1Mbππ . 1Mb = 1MB/8 Or demo 1Mb = 120kb
Nov 18, 2020You bought 1Mb meaning 1/8th of an MB so the speed should be 128kb/s not 500kb/s if you want it to be 500kb/s then you have to pay for the 5Mb/s
Nov 18, 2020Try keeping it at different places

Nov 20, 2020Tele provides service in MB( megabits) not megabytes. 1 byte = 8 bits So 1 megabit is around the one you're getting served right now and it's correct
Nov 18, 2020Its because u didn't buy 1MB yoy have bought 1Mb Megabyte and megabit are diffrent 1megabit means its speed is 125kb 1 megabyte means 1000kb but u have bought the megabit which means its speed is 125kb You can google it
Mar 23, 2021They are correct they 1Mb=1KB b means bit B means Byte 8bits = 1Byte
Mar 06, 2021100kb is it in the download manager or in task manager check that and contact me
Feb 01, 2021Try it with VPN
Nov 18, 2020A VPN doesn't increase internet speed. It slows down.
