What will be the solution to gain ethiopians Unity all-over again? እኔ በግሌ ሁላችንም የራሳችንን አስተዋፅኦ ብናደርግ ...ለምሳሌ social media ላይ ትልቅ ስራ ብንሰራ ... ማለት ሁሉም ሰው ስለ ኢትዮጲያ አንድነት ፅሁፎችን ፣ ስእሎችን ምናምን post በማድረግ አሁን ያለውን የጥላቻ መንፈስ ቢያጠፋ አቅም ያለው ደሞ post የሚደረጉት ነገሮች sponsor በማድረግ ብዙ ሰወች እንዲያዩት ቢያደረግ.... Any others solutions? Lets talk about it?
Nov 06, 2019So we should really start by identifying the problem. IMO the problem lies in the fact that more half of the current young ppl, aka our generation, doesn't believe in Ethiopia and Ethiopianess. They believe, as once said by TPLF, that Ethiopia is a graveyard of ethnicities. And thus saying we should work for, discuss about or think about the unity of Ethiopia, is hate speech to them. They would rather kill/die instead of accepting this. And why did this happen? B/c for the past 28 years we were fed hate instead of tolerance, ignorance instead of wisdom and ethnicity politics instead of humanity.

Nov 07, 2019Fake News. That's the biggest problem in our country. Fake News has been a major problem now across the world. We believe only in what we want to believe. We always make circumstantial fallacy - meaning people don't argue using reason instead they argue against a person's belief or ethnicity. If a person makes a good point we won't take it because he's from the other group. That's our problem now. To be honest I don't think this is going to change soon. However, people should focus on DEVELOPMENT now. I know it sounds cliche - we have been fed this bullshit for years but when people have something to lose they will think twice before doing anything. I think we should try to understand. We should have empathy - let's see it from the other person's shoes. Let's not pretend that's there's only one type of Unity either. People may want different policies and structures yet still be Ethiopian in the core. We have a fragile economy, fragile democracy, fragile politics, fragile peace, fragile human rights record... Let's not push it. Unity should be based on tolerance, we shouldn't force eachother's belief or culture upon eachother. If so, we will have 80+ countries in the east, all who hate eachother, which will lead to civil war. Let's have tolerance, reduce fake news and sympathise with others.
Nov 06, 2019You raised a good answer, that's so considerate of you. We all know that there's a major destruction and genocide is happening in this country. I previously said I hate keros. But I shouldn't have said it. Hating them back won't make any diffrence in fact it make it worse. We need to break this cycle of hatred. It won't get us anywhere. But the question is how? How can we stay united like those good old days?
