Tbh, as cliche as it sounds, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I say this from my experience, i literally never got a single compliment from a guy in my whole 14 years of existence. Before two years, i moved to another place, and started attending new schools; literally everyday someone randomly tells me how pretty my face is (it might be puberty idk). But still there are people who straight up tell me how ugly I am too; and I'm sure they mean it. For me, the perception i have about my looks changes all the time, depending on the environment i'm exposed to; maybe it's because i'm too immature to understand, but that's what i can personally say. I feel average most of the time though.
