Long story short ive been raped by my So called 'father' when i was little....and ya i fucking still live with himπ....anyways my question was.. will it ever stop??....the anger, hatred, fear, memories and sometimes nightmares...will i ever be able to forget? No judgment and pity pls And I would appreciate it if psychiatrists here share me their thoughts

Nov 06, 2020I am no psychiatrist or psychologist Gn i think if u seek it u will find it One day u will accept everything and will make peace with yourself for your self Its not your fault, he is ____(i don't have a word to describe ppl like him), not everyone is the same but they are not that different, your present is in ur hand and you are stronger than your past Believe in yourself sis Its true when they say you are ur only limit don't let the fear control yourlife I know it is easy said than done but you always can take the baby steps for everything Facing your fears can start from things like giving presentation in class, speaking your mind .... U need to make peace with what happened to you U won't live with ur parents ur whole life and i won't ask u to forgive him (he doesn't deserve it) but what u can do is forget that he is alive

But forgive him just to be free from the stress and anger you feel when you see him. If the stress isn't gone after this you should get out of that house.
