Maybe we get dumber or ppl now adays say it isn't true just because they don't understand it or know it properly in short the look the easy way which is atheism. But ppl got different idea to be that. I been there i know them well don't fool ur self i say for my brothers and sisters out there

It's not skepticism. In the old times questioning anything related to religion was viewed as a very serious matter. People genuinely believed god would inflict his wrath as soon as the words left our mouth. Even if u didn't receive god's divine punishment, whatever small society u lived will completely shut u out and u would be an outcast so no one would speak out. Now however thanks to globalization nun know u aren't alone in your questions and doubts. Even if u get shut out here the entire world as at ur fingertips and it doesn't matter. So to conclude, it's not that we are skeptic, it's just that we were presented with a bunch of possibilities and we chose the one that made the most sense.

Atheism is not proved by sceince that is common misconception, logically and mathematically it's more absured to be atheist than being theist
