It proves nothing. animals engage in all sorts of selfish, violent, and primitive behaviors that humans would almost universally categorize as immoral. That’s why taking moral cues from the animal kingdom is absurd. Their sexual drive and instinct to mate is extremely strong and can be confused. When animals are in heat, they release pheromones that trigger an instinctual behavior by males. In these sexual heat drives pheromones are carried through the wind. And they mount any thing close to them.

Were you there when they did the research? and second here is your short answer : Religious people believe that homosexuality comes from Evil spirit, and satan can possess animals (*see Genesis 3:1, Mark 5:13) so if animals are gay.... a BIG IF...they are definitely possessed by demon spirits
