You decide. Let me explain this to the extent my knowledge reaches. 100,000 years ago, homo Neanderthals live in Europe and Russia. Homo erectus live in Asia. There were also homo florensis and one other around Indonesia. Both America's and Australia don't have anybody. Homo Sapiens(humans) live in Africa at this time. Particularly, East Africa. At around 100,000 years ago, they start their journey to middle east but couldn't succeed to make it to Europe and far east Asia and returned back. Why? They were not that much equipped with materials and a brain that far exceed their counterpart. So, after 30,000 years. Means 70,000 years ago, cognitive revolution came out. People started to use their brain. They built boats, arrow, kuraz.... Now they start their journey again. This time, they make it far east Asia,Europe, Russia... So, what happened to Neanderthals, erectus and others. Here comes the genetic question. There are two theories. 1. Interbreading theory--Homo sapiens mate with Neanderthals and others. 2. Replacement theory - They say, NO. Homo Sapiens were so cruel that they wiped Neanderthals and others from the face of the earth. It was the first genocide ever documented. Most evidences support replacement theory. But scientists are discovering genes of Neanderthals inside current day Europeans. But it is rather rare percentage.
