It's 18 but It all depends on your id card.if Ur I'd card says your 18 they've gotta accept you.I got my Id card at 16 then I got my driver's license immediately

they said no even for experience I'm 16 and they said comeback when your at least 2 months for 18.would be a waste of time to go and try.and also if they let you drive while having a license they pay 3,000 etb for the first time and you below 18 found driving will pay 5,000 birr and you will be in record for the next 3 yrs.in sum you pay 8,000 birr in one day.
