The bole subcity was planned to be divided long before abiy: since the subcity is getting wider so there is no hidden agenda behind it. they just executed what was planned before. If you are talking about the name, the mayor of the city said "we've discussed it with the people" I don't know if it's true or not but if they did kudos to them because that's what a democracy is if not they just wanna show us who is in charge. To be fair tho some of the subcity names are in Oromic language you can take Gulele and akaki kality as an example so I don't think it's matters that much 🤷‍♂
