Why do we still need affirmative action to give priority to women? Now they're feminists and independent why don't we take out that action? It's double benefit for them, not fair for everyone.

May 03, 2026You have to think about it from the general population view point and not from the few privileged women in urban areas. Systemic discrimination takes decades to be overcome. Girls are still being mutilated, married off, and economically overpowered in the regions. Women are still pressured to pass off very high education & positions for the lopsided expectations of family caretaking. The affirmative action does not solve these discriminations, but it at least encourages women to sustain equity.
