Hey, I got a question for people who moved from Protestant to Orthodox Do you still listen to Protestant worship songs or you stopped after converting? And how was it getting used to stuff like praying in front of icons and the different worship style? was it weird at first or you got used to it If this question isnβt for you just skip pls π Iβm not trying to start arguments. Apr 29, 2026I am not someone who converted but, you can go step by step like till you adjust, like listen to one your used to but also the orthodox, it's until you get used to the mezmurs enji they areπ. Also for the prayers icons are just a way for you to avoid distractions and to teach someone who can't read and speak AKA figurative explanation, they are their to help you focus. So just pray like you're seeing God through the icons, nothing much.
