Apr 08, 2026These are Fulani/Felata herders. They are not refugees, but nomadic people that migrate seasonally; and they don't need assistance. But the problem doesn't lie there. Gambella is already dealing with immigration issues like refugees and other immigrants invading the local settlements and causing tribal conflicts. So if this things are not addressed, it could become a big problem in the future.
