Hi everyone. I’m planning my first trip to Hawassa soon and I would really appreciate some advice from people who know the area. • Can you recommend a good hotel to stay at? If possible, I’d prefer something close to Lake Hawassa. • Which areas or places should I definitely visit while I’m there? • When I arrive at the bus station in Hawassa, what is the best way to get to the hotel (taxi, bajaj, etc.)? • Are there any hotels near the lake that are easy to reach from the bus station? This will be my first time visiting, so any tips or recommendations would be very helpful. Thank you!

if you haven't went already, what we used to do when in campus was find a room/ hotel around agri campus (piassa) which is one taxi away from the bus station. my fav one is called green something (grove) most likely. piassa when you start the mobil road (which you will ask about) it's next to the gas station. don't be scared to ask for directions but don't look lost and if you plan to enjoy yourself don't ask for directions at night and just tell the driver where you plan to go.
