I have an hp pavilion notebook 15. Its old, 4th generation. A couple of months ago the hinge broke and the webcam ribbon cable short circuited. It worked for awhile but recently it completely stopped turning on. I looked up online and I found out that I could remove the web cam cable completely. But I am having doubts because I might make things worse. My question is can it get fixed? or is my laptop a lost cause?
