Jan 11, 2026Don't trust anyone. Trust what you see. If you want to buy a hard drive you should buy a well known brand. Like Kingston, Samsung, Western digital, search for good hard drive brands. Then look for a good technology that suits you and your money. The lowest with price is SATA HDD, then there is SATA SSD, nvme SSD, m.2 SSD and others. So 1st look at your PC whether it is desktop or laptop, search with it's model and find the compatible hard drives. (Ask chat gpt) 2nd list out the size of the hard drive you want with the speed you want to get. 3rd go to sellers, ask the item you want with the brands you want. Don't listen to them if they say "other brands they have are a good product." mnamn.. they'll sell you trash.. 4th check the health don't ever buy a used hard drive if possible because it might be problematic. But if there isn't new check for the hard drive health. 5th have them test it in front of you with a hard disk sentinel program. The health should be 100%, the usage (power on time) must be few. Or the estimated remaining lifetime must be around 1000 days or close to that. And there should not be a bad sector problem. (Aleziya bezum sayekoy yebelashal) I once went out to buy a SATA SSD 250 GB and most sellers were trying to take advantage of me. I bought a Kingston SATA SSD 250GB for 4,500 birr. 500GB is around 6,000 or 6,500 at that time. The location was around Mexico kkare. Go to them first because they are a good sellers. But you still need to check what you're buying. https://t.me/abyssiniashop Good luck 🤞
