so i am freshman student at astu and i am seriously considering dropping out. i always been good academically but i don't have passion for any field i think uni is a waste of time for me. i am thinking to comeback home and work with my father's business and learn something in weeknd then i actually can be financially good. what do you think?
Jan 11, 2026Because you have a choice now you want to have a different path. Let me ask you What your plan is if suddenly you find out you dont want to be into business or you dont get along with your father well.Do you have a plan B?
Jan 11, 2026I am in uni too but if i had your background i won't be in uni... Of u are curious enough too learn things by yourself that enough ...go back to your family and do business with your father . If u stay in uni for 3 yeara u will get piece of paper . If u work with your father you get experience ,network and good money . Now think which will help u in the future the paper or the experience and the network?
Jan 11, 2026That is good choice i think if you have family business and you have some experience u will will gonna start the business in your own (like a branch oror something) or any different business too
