Hey you guys how are you? So I have this question for the guys in relationship, I am a girl and 23. I have a boyfriend whom I rly rly love. So here is the thing , I am a strong believer in independent, I do things on my own and I always ALWAYS pay my share whenever we go out with friends or family. I never let anyone pay for my things. Whenever I go out on a date with my boyfriend I always share the payment, like if we go to the movies and if he pays, then I pay for lunch. he always asks me to pay the whole thing or at least to buy me gifts, but I don’t want these things now. I want him to be strong financially for our future and I think buy things like clothes and other girly things is a waste now. But guys tell me if I were you gf would it bother you?

If it has the hint and feeling that you do this because of insecurities and things like feminism, it will definitely bother me I would not be able to stand being with you. We have to know that men and women are not the same and hence they should have different rights responsibilities etc. Feminism and other beliefs that men and women are identical in everything and gender is a social construct are huge issue with me and I would not be with her. Besides this if u do it normally and not because of the above reasons its good. But relax on the ALWAYS let him pay sometimes.
