Hey everyone, I’m a 21-year-old guy and a second-year computer science student. I’ve been focusing a lot on Forex trading, but I’m still not profitable. I’m working on controlling my emotions and improving my strategy, but honestly, I’m scared of failing. Right now, I don’t have any extra money to invest in Forex. I only have my last capital in a funded account. Because I’ve been so focused on trading, I’ve neglected my studies, and I’m not very good at programming. Now I’m worried that I’ll graduate without real programming skills and also fail at Forex. For those who are studying or working in computer science, what should I do to get better at programming and start making money by building real skills?
Dec 18, 2025Lemme say a few thing here. I studied CS and I'm in forex trading as well. I've a full time job and I know how demanding forex trading and how hard it is to dedicate time and energy to other things. I know that you know this gn lemme say it. Please don't rush the process. I know there's this urge to succeed asap, but that's only damaging. It's so much better to stay focused to the process and keep refining your strategy and develop your psychology. We all know it takes time. Like serious amount of time. If you’re in for the long run, then consider it as a business. If you focus on the process and keep working on your strategy and psychology, I'm sure you're gonna be talking a whole different story in the coming few years. Good luck, brother.
