Just a thought People say they want a perfect man perfect women, but the truth is they don’t! Relationships are built on exchange effort, growth, contribution! Give and take! So When someone is “perfect” it makes you ask what do I add here? What would I heal in her or him! What will I give to somebody who is perfect! If there’s nothing to fix, support, or improve, the ego feels unnecessary. so we feel unwanted and being unnecessary or unwanted is very terrifying. What do you guys think?
Dec 13, 2025My personal opinion is that this issue stems from the over emphasizing of Transactional relationship but not love. It's starts with thinking relationships are something that Need to happen at any cost. Encourages people to have these requirements and eagerly look for someone because they just have to have a partner. Love was supposed to be this thing that didn't have requirements, didn't need planning, knows no boundary and is sacrificial. People in love or know what true love is don't waste their time spitting the "what do you bring to the table" nonsense everytime someone's near them. So, when love's there, the conversation of perfection or imperfections loses value. It doesn't matter. Love makes you need them anyway or make them need you and It's not even in your control.
