I'm the main provider at home. Both my parents are unemployed since forever 😏. My dad lost his income due to gambling and survives on help from his brothers. My mom depends on me for everything. I pay the bills, the food, everything. I'm exhausted, angry, and burned out. The hardest part is my little sister. She's still in high school and doesn't deserve any of this chaos. Moving out might protect my sanity, but I'm terrified it will hurt her. Has anyone been through this? How do you escape without abandoning the one innocent person in your life?

I say you wait till she joins university. If you leave now and are not there to lookover her she might be distracted and not get the point to pass mathric but once she passes mathric leave the house. She'll join university and take care of herself.

C, makes the most sense given the fact that's ur main concern is ur sister gen honestly it's so hard how about before moving out you let your mom know how you feel about it all and how you can't keep doing this forever and just have a civil conversation with her but let her know you want your own life and can't be helping them out forever.

I don't believe you can protect others while hurting and being exhausted and you shouldn't abandon the innocent to save yourself either so choice C is more balanced. It helps you to handle your responsibilities (I'm not sure if it's yours actually) and get a space to breathe. If it's possible you can take your sister with you too but since you didn't mentioned that it must be impossible.
