Hey guys, I grew up with my mom, dad, and 4 siblings in a poor family. Since childhood my mom was often upset, and almost every night she reminded us of what she had done for us. I always tried to help, but it was heavy to hear again and again. In grade 11 I moved out, tutoring another family’s child in exchange for a place to sleep. It wasn’t for freedom, but just to survive and continue my studies. Since then, a big gap has grown, especially with my mom. Even when we meet on the road, we only say “how are you” and “I’m fine,” and sometimes I even fear greeting her. I’ve felt lonely from that time until now. I live by myself and work, but I don’t know how to fix the distance or the loneliness. What should I do?
