I don’t understand why you are calling Daenerys Targaryen a whore because as far as I remember she only slept with three people. The first was her husband Drogo, the second was Daario, her lover by choice based on attraction and trust, and the third was Jon Snow, which was mutual and based on attraction, not on what she could get out of him. She did not sleep her way up politically. We can even see this when Xaro of Qarth wanted her for himself. He promised her ships, wealth and power if she married him, and while she played along politically, she never slept with him, she never committed to him. She was wise but she was never a whore.I don’t understand why Daenerys is judged so harshly, especially in the Game of Thrones world where so many women and men were with countless people, yet no one calls them the same thing. She only slept with THREE people she was genuinely attracted to.
What makes Daenerys so likable to me is that she had legitimacy by birth but she also earned her power. She freed slaves, built armies, and inspired loyalty. People followed her because they believed in her. She was compassionate, she cared about the oppressed in a world where most rulers did not. She listened to her advisors, she respected the opinion of others, and at the same time she was powerful and decisive. When people betrayed her she could show mercy, but she could also be fearsome.She had the qualities that are most needed in leadership. She balanced empathy with strength and that made her the full embodiment of a true leader. The ending was sad tho
