Is Being Fullstack Developer Best FOr Future Than Graphics Design And Video Editor?
Sep 15, 2025I started learning full-stack dev, last year and here are the pros: First it doesn't require high level of creativity to stand out, comparing to video editing and graphics design. Second simple setup, decent pc and internet connection is enough, but for graphics design and video editing you need any pc with high specs( this one may not be the issue but its still a pro) Third if you master backend development, testing and debugging very well then AI won't be your problem, but seeing Google's nano-banana, and other video and image creating AI out there, it really makes harder to be graphics designer and video editor. And fourth if you learn DSA with the dev, then you might get the chance to work in high tech companies like Google, meta, Microsoft... But here is the cons of being a developer, it is exhausting... especially when you are a beginner there are a lot of things to learn. always there is something new, and you always feel you are not enough, like you are behind. My suggestion for that: find a community which shares same interest. 90% of dev students won't make it when they reach Javascript, 95% on React, 99% won't make it to database. So it's hard u need special kind of consistency and dedication. Comparing with graphics design, I know people making $2K - $15K per project by graphics design, that's way alot of money. But in this age of Ai you really really need to be creative on that, wayyy creative. And you gotta enjoy it... I know less on graphics design and video editing but I think you get this helpful. ✌️
