You better manage it non pharmacologically Like hydrate your self (drink plenty of fluid like herbal tea ,, water ...) Gurgle with salty warm water Take a rest Otherwise for common cold it is just symptomatic management like if u have fever ,,headache and bodyache use paracetamol for it If you worried with cough with expectorant (bzu akta mibeza kehone) ...use guaifanesine Only dry cough ...use dextromethorphane Worried for runny nose and sneezing .... Use diphenhydramine Personally I recommend to manage it without meds but if symptoms are severe and worried u a lot choice the worst symptom and manage it with mentioned meds ... don't take all of meds I mentioned rather use one or two who worried you alot If you have any chronic illness like high BP ,, pregnancy ,, liver issue ,, thyroid issue some drugs are not recommended
