Hey guys, hear me out I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this but I hope it Worth it, I'm a uni Medical student, studying M.D so far I have good grades but I'm half through it and our education system is ain't giving for me so I was thinking to do uni transfer to other countries, even if it is kenya, so is there anyone who knows abt university transition program in Ethiopia and should I start over when I get there or can I continue from my current year, Thanks in Advance
Sep 01, 2025I don't think so. Different countries have different curriculums. For example, there are Sudanese medical students who have been transferred to Ethiopia due to war and instability. Consequently, they often have a significant knowledge gap compared to the local students. Furthermore, their previous program did not include an internship; instead, they had a community outreach program after C2. Therefore, I believe these curriculum variations mean that after a transfer, there is a chance you may not be able to continue directly from your current year and might have to repeat some coursework.
