Hello everyone, I have a highly profitable, pioneering business concept that would be the first of its kind in our country. However, I’m facing a challenge: while the idea isn’t something I can execute alone, I’m unsure how to approach collaborations or partnerships effectively. I want to ensure it’s structured correctly from the start. Has anyone else been in a similar situation—having a promising idea but feeling stuck on the "how" of collaboration? Any advice on: 1. Finding trustworthy partners, 2. Structuring roles/agreements, or 3. Validating the idea before sharing? Would deeply appreciate your insights or experiences! 🙏
Aug 11, 2025first of all any kind of business idea/concept of any kind will be a challenge to execute here in Ethiopia and with that comes risks and calculated decisions. 1, before searching a partner, have a full understanding on your business idea and why a partner will be needed, if its a skill sourcing or finance, u should know why will u need a partner becaouse most thing can get started alone and partnership can be solved with out loosing equity or share, simply with freelance and hiring professionals. 2, for agreement or contracts and any kind of legal document, hire consultant 3, to validate ur idea before sharing, if its a product; develop it with what u have (prototype) if its a service do market research and analysis. P.s before anythng, clear idea with a blue print; purpose, market monitatization ways, etc is necessary.
