They’ve been together for five years, and she’s been there for him through a lot.... emotionally and even financially....... especially when he was living on his own. That shows she’s really invested in the relationship...... But then came the test. He created a fake account to see how she’d respond to another guy. When asked if she had a boyfriend, she said no. On the surface, that could mean dishonesty… but it could also be that she simply didn’t want to give personal details to some random stranger online. Not everyone will say “yes, I have a boyfriend” to someone they don’t know......... Things got messy fast......a video call happened, her mom got involved....... so clearly she felt caught off guard and maybe embarrassed. But here’s the thing: the “test” itself probably damaged the trust between them. If you’re at the point where you’re pretending to be someone else to check your partner’s loyalty, it’s a sign you already have doubts....... The best move now would be to talk to her directly.... calmly, not angrily.... and ask why she answered that way. If it turns out she really was lying with bad intentions, then marriage should be reconsidered. But if it was just a misunderstanding or poor communication, the real question is whether they can rebuild trust going forward.
