I have a question :- If a person completes their undergraduate studies at a smaller, lesser-known private college—one that is officially accredited but not widely recognized—would they still be eligible to apply for and be accepted into a master's degree program at a local university? I'm curious about how much the reputation of the undergraduate institution matters in the admissions process, especially if the student has a solid academic record. Does accreditation alone ensure access to further studies, or do local universities place significant weight on the name and recognition of the previous college?
Jul 29, 2025Nah All you need is to pass the GAT/NGAT exam ( preferably with a good point) and pass their department exams (if there is any) Post grad programs are open for anyone with the required bachelor degree
