Meeting multiple people a day wasn't this easy before and you can't cut people off this fast. Now you can. It feels worthless. Offline: people are busy with their phones. Thanks to globalization, We now have these new standards for relationship and friendship that we get from the internet. Technology is making it so that you stay at home while working, stay at home and buy stuff online, Focus on taking photos when you're doing something rather than the thing itself and so on. It's getting worse. If you're looking for genuine friends, Try an app called "Slowly" it tries to solve this problem by making people write meaningful long letters to each other for a deeper connection rather than a shallow online chat.
