Read the book "Eat, Pray, Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert. It's a gateway for people like you who want to be Closer to a higher power but not have to deal with the whole Organizational religious institution crap.

first of all the reasons you have provided is not enough to be an atheist. I mean there are more questions that questions your belief in God. secondly don't ask another person why you should join his/her religion since your self said everyone believes his/her religion is perfect and correct. So do a research your self, observe thier deads as a bible says "...ከፍሬያቸው ታውቋቸዋላችሁ..."

Make your priority towards the person(God ) himself not religion because, what ever God did or what ever jesus did, they all did for the sake of us. Did you know Jesus's enemies back then was the top religious people? My point is God intended a fellowship ratherthan a religion. So try to know him personally

You were on the right track my friend. Atheism is not a choice for impartial people who value the truth above all else. And even the fact that you were born into this world out of a gazillion possible combinations of sperm and egg, or that you got to the point where you felt like asking this question today out of all the days you pondered it may somehow give the illusion of a higher power at work. Sadly in this deterministic world we live in everyone's actions have a domino effect, and like your astute observations led you to realize every religion claims only they have the right God or message from God and as that observation contributed to you becoming an Atheist, everything once passed as a coincidence can be explained. A father dying due to a terrorist attack, plane crushes, car crushes, lots of final destination kind of mysterious catastrophes can be explained, the problem is that the explanation reveals a chaotic world not that there is a benevolent deity. So in short Coincidences are so because they are yet to be explained and this is no reason for why any of the thousands of Gods man created might just be real.

u came here to get answers now ur gona leave even more confused 😂 ur free why wud u wana believe a half assed written story sm goat herders wrote. Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones. uLive a good life. Go with the religion that resonates with your intuitions and presuppositions, which probably is gonna be your previous one or maybe not be. After all, we follow what makes sense to our inner self.

Just from my point of view lengersh , 1. Be open minded , ende bzu haymanotegnoch negerochen defend lemadreg sayhon lemeredat mokri 2. I use to believe in coincidence too ,but deep down I know it wasn't so .. hiweteshen bedenb mermiri until you convince yourself there is a power in all of things that happened 3. Pray , when you pray just say /since you already admitted there is power/ " I know you exist and I know you created me .. so show yourself to me and show me the right way " . That's how I got my answer. Idk but i hope this helps

I feel. do u know what the shity think about this? Everybody is trying to tell u how to do or feel. But for me the existence of God was never a debate. u know it, and u feel it always around you unless you wanna ignore it or have unanswered questions . Anyway, I recommend u to read the bible not as a religious POV just as about to know what is in it that makes people say it changed my life

Do you believe there is multiple truth? For example Islam say Those who don't associate parteners with Allah and belive in Muhammed and all the other prophets before him will attain paradise Christianity preaches those who accept jesus as the son of God who came in flesh to redeem as from our sins will attain paradise And Judaism says if you are jew follow the torah and if you are a goyim follow nohadic laws And other religions are generally philosophies rather than a doctrinal religion or polytheism So i belive one only can be true since they are contradictory statements , in logic one cant be true and false at the same time And for Agnostic out there do you really belive that God would exist and he just created us and didnt send any guidelines that would necessarily mean those people who sacrificed children or made some atrocities wouldn'tbe punished cause they didn't hear warning of doing such a thing, Not all the things are necessarily known to be immoral by innate. wouldn't that be injustice , imperfection which goes against the definition of God,
