Men literally used happy wife, happy life in 1980s real estate ads and standup acts to mock women as emotional landmines..not exactly feminist propaganda yeah? It was never about partnership. it was marketing fluff and sitcom bait where wives were nags and husbands were these poor victims of dinnertable drama:) Meanwhile you wanna know what a real trap is?globally, 1 in 3 women experience intimate partner violence, and in the U.S. alone( where they men puke the happy wife happy life joke every chance they get) , 3 women are killed by their partners every single day (CDC, 2021). but sure, let’s pretend it’s women who set the trap and men are the greatest victims of marriage.
