Hello I'm currently in AASTU and completed freshman as an applied science stream. Now I want pursue another parallel degree in tech related fields. And I heard About HiLCOe.So is it worth is to take SE there?how is the vibe there?the fee? or anything I should be aware of? any valuable information is welcomed. Thank You🙏

Jul 21, 2025Selam bro this was info I gathered for a friend of mine. So in order to Join HiLCoE - you first need to join the waitlist by applying. And in order to apply 1. [G - 8 (Not very sure)],12 Matric results [Original and copy] 2. 9 - 12 School transcript [Original and copy] 3. 3 Gurd photos 4. Application fee of birr 1,000. - Means you joined the waitlist. And then, if you passed the screening they will let you know. - Semesters [2 in a year]. Therefore there will be 2 intakes in a year. - Per credit hour - it is 2800 I believe. - Per semester - birr 50,800. - Next intake [on October], so apply early. And it is possible. I have a friend, who graduated in Civil Eng. at AASTU and is in his final years at HiLCoE.
