Hey! couple years ago I met this girl, we liked each other very much. We both consider that we'll get married in the future.Then the politics got involved and she started to show hate for my ethnicity. She is Amhara and I'm Tigrayan. By the way, she normally loves Tigrayans but the war brought the worst of her, and i don't blame her but its hard for me to imagine having kids in this position. Then i start to think what our future might look like. The hate that i got not from her but also from other Ethiopians was high to the point i get into a mental crisis. I thought "what would our future be like, while politics and hate is involved"... We stopped talking,not because of politics but now i really want to talk to her, I still love her. But I'm still cautious about the ethnic politics.
Jun 23, 2025Do you consider yourself a mature and an open minded individual? If you do then don't limit yourself with such a person, she's close minded cuz why would she blame you for things you didn't do?
