I want to give a close friend a graduation gift and figured that cash is probably the most useful option. The only issue is, I’m currently living abroad and don’t have a good sense of what amount is considered generous or appropriate in the current Ethiopia economy Nothing over the top, just something thoughtful and meaningful without being awkwardly low or too much.
