Hey My dog hurt one of his front paws specifically, one toe is swollen and he’s not using that leg at all. He’s been limping for almost a week now, only using his other three legs to move around. I applied ice for the past three days, but the swelling hasn’t gone down. The rest of the leg seems fine. I’ve checked every part I could even the other toes and he doesn’t react when I press them or apply pressure. It’s just that one swollen toe where he pulls back or shows pain. I talked to the only vet I know, but he said it might be Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD), which is just dumb. If anyone has seen something like this or knows an actual vet who might be more helpful, please let me know.
