May 11, 2025For a country under civil war as we speak, this sort of thing is expected. And what are asking about happens everywhere! I agree that a government is a reflection of its people, we are responsible for the death of innocents in our own country. We think politics is for the few and distance ourselves so far from it that we no longer keep up with their tricks and deceit, we don't know how to demand our rights, I think we feel it improper or even rude, we willingly suffer as if there is no alternative, we don't know how to tell facts from rhetoric so our ignorance divides us and in turn sustains our rulers. Our rules come from the societies we adore, it might as well be me or you who is up there. It sickens me to say but I think people respect (I know they fear) and even admire this kind of power. The problem is we don't know our roles in the workings of government, if we don't assume them, it is as if we are oblivious to them, right? This is my take anyways, and my condolences.
