Question for the girls in here… I’ve noticed something interesting: a lot of you casually drop F-bombs in English ("This traffic is fucking ridiculous!") and no one bats an eye. But the second a guy curses in Amharic), suddenly it’s "too aggressive" or "disrespectful."

May 09, 2025It's not about modernisation or anything else. Most people use it because it is not their native language and carries a lesser weigher than the Amharic version. The Amharic version is hard for people to say because it is their native language and they can't have fun with it.
