One more reason for why there is no God. If God cared about how we looked, he'd have made us all as "beautiful" as he is, and if he didn't care we'd all be of equal merit. But nature, sexual selection, makes one gorgeous and another hideous, as you said not fairness expected from an all loving God. A benevolent God who is responsible for giving life to everything surely wouldn't let a disfigured child be born, specially if all he is interested in is our hearts, right? There are good beautiful people and bad ugly people, how we look is no indication of who we are. Yet since he created nature, and we are drawn to wider hips and bigger breasts because of it, why deprave some, since on the subject why is there barrenness and congenital defects, dwarfism etc... So you are forced to settle for either an unfair God who is likely conducting an experiment with you, or no God. My money is on the latter.
