Please help me understand my recurrent boils I'm 24, underweight (40 kg, 155 cm), and I've been getting recurrent boils for about 9 years. Recently, I've had 4 episodes: - Upper buttock - Lower buttock - Thigh - Back of knee The latest one became extremely painful. I was limping and couldn't walk properly. At the health centre, they drained it without local anaesthetic, but only blood came out, not pus. I was prescribed cloxacillin and ibuprofen, and it eventually dried and healed. However, another boil appeared less than a week , and the usual treatment is drainage + antibiotics. I've taken cloxacillin repeatedly, and I'm struggling financially with Repeated visits and medication. My random blood sugar was 130 mg/dL. I don't smoke, I'm not overweight, and I have no family history of diabetes. no RVI as weIl'm exhausted and worried that this will keep happening. What could be causing these recurrent boils? Could it be skin condition.
