When people say "May God's name be blessed" (or "Blessed be the name of the Lord"), they are not saying that humans give God a blessing that He lacks. Instead, "bless" has a different meaning depending on who is doing the blessing. When God blesses people, He gives them good things—life, protection, favor, strength, forgiveness, and so on. When people bless God, they are expressing praise, honor, gratitude, and worship. They are acknowledging His greatness. Source : chatgpt
